Preparing Every Child, Every Day for Success in School and in Life.
Our Mission
At Educare of Omaha, Inc., we believe everyone deserves a fair chance to achieve their dreams, and it starts by leveling the playing field from the day we are born. By providing high-quality early education and empowering parents as their child’s first and best teachers, we ensure young children in our community have the best possible chance for success in life.
Educare of Omaha, Inc. provides high-quality, full-time, year-round early education for over 600 children ages 0-5 at five schools located in North and South Omaha and through our home visitation program annually. At our Educare schools, certified teachers interact with children to develop and reach individual social-emotional and cognitive goals. On-site health aides provide health screenings and referrals. All meals, snacks, diapers and other basic needs are provided during school hours.
Each family also meets with a Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Specialist or Early Childhood Coordinator who provides education and support about child development and parenting and helps families design and meet goals. Our FACE team members are also well-informed of community resources and can link families with agencies that may be able to help with health needs, housing concerns, finding employment and more.
